Today I found myself thinking, ā€œHow did I end up, at 35 years old, bouncing around in a shark outfit surrounded by a bunch of kids?ā€.

This is surely not where I am meant to be in life?

I am a product of the choices I made at 18.
I am a product of the choices I made at 25.
I am a product of the choices I made at 30.

And so what if Iā€™m not living in a fancy apartment in Sea Point, or driving a BMW with my MBA hanging on my office wall - like I thought it would be.

ā€œHappiness is a journey - not a Destinationā€ - and right now, Iā€™m pretty grateful Iā€™m in the safest country, regarding the worlds current situation. The special people in my life are all safe, and healthy. I have financial stability - and I have acquired many experiences in the last few years that fixed assets canā€™t compare with. I ran away to find peace and solitude - and how I have been blessed with that in China.

Somewhere along the line, I read: ā€œA goal without a plan is nothing but a dreamā€.
