Hout Bay Swimming Academy

Hout Bay Swimming Academy Wendy's Swim School was founded in 2001 in the small village of Hout Bay. With a fun environment to Start swimming the Right way! With over16 years of experience.

With a fun environment to learn in, babies, tots, moms, dads, nannys and grannies can enjoy learning to swim. We offer toddler classes for babies 4 months and up in a fun filled 30 minute group lesson. Focused mainly on pool safety and water awareness. Using a gentle, holistic approach to ensure each individual child learns at his/her own pace. Lot's of fun, laughter and bonding time for mom and baby. From two years and up, children can learn to swim and familiarise themselves with water through countless fun filled games. Parents can watch from the side and offer their encouragement throughout the 15 minute private lesson. We offer mini squads to get the bigger chidlren school ready and confidant to display their swimming skills with their peers. Squad training from age 7 and up to encourage fitness and strength. With classes small enough to still gain individual attention for stroke correction and technique. We also offer a Nannys club to get your domestic water confident and able to be ready to save a life.. Adult lessons.. Because it's NEVER too late to learn...

Groovy Granny classes to keep those wonderful oldies limber and smiling. (often a lot of laughter.. which is a good thing)

Wendy is a qualified Yoga instructor and loves nothing more than to nurture our moms to be, in the warm water. Gentle stretching and toning. AquaYoga offered.. Incorporating breathing Techniques and meditation. We'll host your WINTER POOL PARTY.. Offering a 'game facilitator' and life guard...

For any further enquirers, please feel free to contact Wendy on 0839876899.
