What does it take to be a successful cultural entrepreneur in South Africa? And what role can artists and cultural entrepreneurs play in the growth of the country's economy?
These are some of the questions unpacked by facilitator Jess Wright (Head of Mentoring for Business Acumen for Artists), with panelists Nene Mahlangu (Artist and winner of the Amex ZA Graphic Arts Challenge), Lara Rosmarin (Head of Entrepreneur Development and Incubation at UVU Accelerate) and Khensani Nobanda (Group Executive: Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Nedbank).

Enrolments are now open for 2024 Business Acumen for Artists. This year the programme starts in May. What a great way to spend winter - learning the language of business and securing a stable entrepreneurial base. Small class so limited space. Apply sooner rather than later.
