Mlm Faatimah is 23 years old. She completed her Hifdh at 16 at Madrassah Fatima Taz Zahraa under Mu’allimah Aaminah Fisher & studied an intensive Arabic course at Dar Al Turath Al Islamī for 2 years.

" I have been teaching at DTFWQ for 4 years, Alhamdullilah.
My reasons for teaching are: Firstly, because of the Qur’aan & having a passion for teaching it. I have amazing & inspiring leaders! Such as Mlm Farzaana and Moulana Waseem & most importantly because I love working with children and knowing how rewarding it is, and really wanting to make a difference in the children’s lives or leave something beneficial that will always stay with them"

DTFWQ has truly become like a second home & like a family, being in the environment of the masjid is a blessing on its own. I love the bond that I’ve created with my students over the years & they have now become very dear to my heart. Growing with them and encouraging them to always do their best and seeing them grow into beautiful young girls really warms my heart! I make Du’aa I will be there to see them complete their Hifdh Journey as well Insha’Allah. Their smiles & achievements make me happy

It’s truly inspiring and wonderful being part of such a dynamic team, Alhamdullilah. I have leaders that I look up to, and that really makes my teaching a happy and fulfilling experience.

Our first "High Tea Fundraiser" was also the initial start of advertising the school to the broader community & had our posters & pamphlets ready for advertising & circulation.

On the 04 September 2016, Dār Al Tafawwuq hosted our First Fundraising Event spearheaded & organized by the Arabic female students. It was an absolute success & each family had fun hosting their own table & decorating it for the High Tea.

There were several highlights & beautiful programs presented to its attendees. The best highlight & surprise were receiving a cheque of R20 000 towards the establishment of the school.

My highlights are too many to mention. I appreciate & hold dear to things that may seem insignificant to others; interacting with our learners daily, witnessing their smiles & showing extra care & concern when necessary. Witnessing them thrive & reach their milestones, especially when my Preparatory Learners enter the Quraan, from as young as 4 & as mature as 16. More significantly, when witnessing the final recitation & acknowledging the Hāfidh & Hāfidhah for their years of dedication after seeing how they've grown infront of your eyes, "

Mlm Farzaana Hendricks (Nee Saban), wife of Mln Waseem Hendricks & mom of 5

The co-founder & biggest supporter of the Dār Al Tafawwuq Institute. She introduced & taught the Arabic & Qurān Course for females in 2015 & further introduced the Preparatory Tahfīdh Course, currently still teaching at the Institute. She also holds the position of the Administrator & Events Co ordinator at DTFWQ

Mlm Farzaana has been an Islamic Studies Educator since the age of 19, starting at Madrasatun Nur. She immediately completed her 'Alimah Studies at Dārun Naim & has completed multiple Islamic Studies & Teaching Courses. She later pursued Tertiary Studies while being married & a mom. She holds a Bachelors Degree & triple majored in Psychology Arabic & Linguistics at UWC & continous to enhance her knowledge in these academic spheres. Mlm Farzaana later pursued, & is a qualified Life Coach who specializes in Counseling, Coaching & Mentoring , especially amongst the Youth

With over 18 years of teaching experience, Mlm Farzaana has been a driving force in the growth & enhancement of the school. Constantly striving to uphold the name of the school by creating & nurturing an Islamic, vibrant & effective learning environment for all Dār Al Tafawwuq learners, especially the memorizers of the Holy Qurān. Mlm Farzaana strives to know all the learners & parents on a personal level & has a deep concern & appreciation for all.

The early stages of DTFWQ consisted of few learners, but these young hearts were determined to become future Hufādh Alhamdulillāh.

We were truly blessed to have Mlm Yumna Abdol, followed by Mlm Waseefa Darries, imparting the sacred knowledge of Qurān to our learners.

Class of 2020 Tahfīfh Boys consisted of only 10 learners. We were truly elated & honored to have the vibrant Tahfīdh Instructor "Hāfidh Muhammad Richards" teaching this class. He certainly imparted beautiful gems with the boys, which they'll eternally & fondly remember.

Our Pioneer Preparatory learners of Dār Al Tafawwuq sharing their gorgeous smiles was introduced & is still currently taught by Mlm Farzaana Hendricks. The classes started off initially with 10 students & currently accommodating 25 learners Alhamdulillāh

These cuties certainly stole our hearts & motivated us to continue teaching them the basics until they reach the ultimate goal of entering the Qurān & commence their Tahfeedh Journey
