Meet Gregg Maragelis, multi-award-winning South African designer, fashion educator and industry leader.
After beginning his career working with renowned couturiers and luxury brands before launching his own successful label, Gregg took his passion for fashion into education. Today, he serves as Head of Institution and Director of the Cape Town College of Fashion Design (CTCFD), helping nurture and prepare emerging creatives for the industry.
His contribution extends beyond the classroom. Gregg has served on both the Cape Town Fashion Council and South African Fashion Council, and for the past three years has represented South Africa as a speaker, panellist and moderator at the BRICS+ Fashion Summit in Moscow. 🌍
At the heart of his work is a passion for developing a distinct African design identity and creating opportunities for emerging talent across the continent.
