Today our second years welcomed a guest speaker on campus - Nkosinathi Vanda is a Brand Marketing Manager for Woolworths, Food Division. He spoke to students about pitching new products for funding and investment in preparation for their Sales and Negotiations assessment - including Market Research, customer identification and engagement and budget breakdown for funding needs and production needs.

Thank you so much for taking the time to engage with our students on campus!

For Mandela Day our First Year students created Kangaroo Mother Care wraps for new mothers at the Mowbray Maternity Hospital.

Thank you to Mowbray Maternity Hospital for allowing us to come and present each mother with a wrap and handwritten note from a student - and thank you to our first years for participating and giving back to the community.

On the 16th of June 1976, South African students marched against the apartheid government. They were met with brutal force by police, resulting in the loss of many young lives. On the 16th of June each year, we celebrate Youth Day in memory of the Soweto Uprising and the courage and sacrifice of those students - as well as celebrate and support all our youth in South Africa.
