Nizibone is the only chess player at her school. Yet whenever the call comes to represent her school or district, she steps forward, takes on the challenge and delivers. Her journey is a story of commitment, determination and a young player continuing to make her school, club and community proud.
Her achievements have not happened overnight. Behind every tournament is preparation, practice, patience, learning from difficult games and the courage to compete. From the school chessboard to district competitions, and now to an international stage, each step has brought her closer to this opportunity.
She has earned the chance to wear the South African colours and compete alongside young chess players from across Africa. But reaching Namibia requires more than talent and hard work — it requires a community willing to stand behind her.
