Happy Friday Wise Owls 🦉
This week we continued our or space 🪐 theme. The yellow ducklings enjoyed some outside painting and the red robins absolutely loved the “create your own Lego space rocket table” .

All about Space 🚀✨ Blast off into space! 🌙🌎 Our Wise Owls are having fun learning about the wonders of space, from twinkling stars and planets to astronauts and rockets. Through stories, creative activities and imaginative play, they’re discovering new facts while letting their little imaginations soar. Who knows… we might have some future astronauts in the making! 👩‍🚀🪐⭐

While creating our funny little aliens, our busy 3-year-olds learnt so much without even realising it! 🌟

✨ Language skills as we chatted about what our aliens might look like.
✨ Fine motor skills through threading and cutting.
✨ Counting as we added eyes, arms, and decorations.
✨ Understanding big and small.
✨ Exploring hot and cold.
✨ Building social awareness by sharing ideas, taking turns, and encouraging one another.

One fun activity... so many valuable learning opportunities! 💚

At 3 years old, every moment of play is a chance to grow, learn, imagine, and create. 🎨✂️

Pyjama Day at Wise Owl 🦉.
The children got to wear their comfy pyjama’s to school and they even got a special treat. Hot chocolate ✨

Winter-themed art is a wonderful way for children to explore their creativity while learning about the changing seasons. Through painting, cutting, gluing, and creating rainy scenes, children develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, and self-expression. These fun activities also encourage imagination, build confidence, and introduce new textures, colours, and shapes in an engaging way.

Outdoor play gives children the opportunity to build their strength, coordination, and confidence while exploring the world around them. It also encourages creativity, problem-solving, and social skills as they play, share, and work together. Fresh air and active play support both physical health and emotional well-being, helping children feel happier and more engaged.

Small world play encourages children to use their imagination, creativity, and problem-solving skills as they create their own stories and adventures. It helps develop language and communication through storytelling, builds fine motor skills by manipulating small objects, and supports social and emotional development as children explore different roles, emotions, and real-life situations. Most importantly, it provides a fun, hands-on way for children to learn through play while building confidence and curiosity.

It’s the end of another wonderful term. The Wise Owls got to dress up today , from Spider-Man to fairy princesses and knights in shining armour ready to save the day.
