To say this session was special is an understatement......we had the privilege of hosting the Grade 11 learners from Zola Senior Secondary School at our iThuba workshop. Their impeccable manners and enthusiasim to participate made it a session to remember! Thank you to Caron for being our able IT assistant, and thank you to the teachers and students for joining us today.

Another two wonderful mornings with the Grade 11 students from Harry Gwala Secondary School in Khayelitsha, who were so keen to learn and also loved their tour of the Museum. Many thanks to their teacher, Mr Brown, for assisting on the computer, as well as our very own Caron for her input and assistance. We loved having everyone there!

Another two successful iThuba presentations done in collaboration with Zola Senior Secondary School from Khayelitsha in Cape Town. Wonderful jovial Grade 11 students who were attentive & enthusiastic!

Another successful iThuba initiative......presentation to the wonderfully attentive Grade 12's of Hawston Secondary School in Hermanus. Many thanks to the Vice Principal (Clair Wessels) for the organisation, and to Ingrid for her able assistance. Was lovely to meet all the fabulous Learners, and enjoy the time in their wonderful school facility.

The Grade 11 class from Joe Slovo Secondary School in Khayelitsha are amazing! Such an attentive and eager group of learners & teachers attended our iThuba session, and we enjoyed every minute of presenting our programme to them and showing them the beautiful museum. A big thank you to those that were brave enough to stand up and participate, as well as to Lindi Brogneri for her tech assistance. We loved having you all!

This week saw us spending a wonderful two mornings teaching 120 Grade 11 students from Bulumko Secondary School. They were so attentive and their teachers were marvelous, assisting where ever they could. The tour of the museum afterwards was so appreciated by all - a big thank you to Iziko Museums for sponsoring us. And thank you too, for the assistance from Eva Craik on managing the presentation screens.

We were invited by Iziko to address their students with our Ithuba initiative at the 'Careers at Iziko Workshop'. We were honoured to give a presentation to students on how to prepare for the job market. A special thanks to Natheerah for her assistance and her amazing handling of the presentation slides.

Wonderful Grade 12 pupils at Qhayiya Senior Secondary School in Zwelihle, Hermanus who attended our Ithuba class today…120 pupils returned to school from their studies to learn how to prepare for the job market. Thanks to Mr Mbongisa and the 2 pupils who helped set up the projector, as well as Connie and Di who helped with the preparations and the slides.

Another presentation done, and this time to the class 3 and class 4 pupils at the Salesians Learn to Live School of Skills, as they prepare to enter the job market at the end of the year. Interested and well behaved pupils. Many thanks to Magan from the Diamond Works for assisting with the projector, and Tony Austin the Principal, for making the arrangements. We thoroughly enjoyed educating these learners.
