Though we have been silent through the pandemic period we have been busy and we can not wait to share our new website with you, as well as celebrate the last decade of exploration with you.
Yes, that’s correct, 10 years (2011-2021) and to celebrate this we will be looking at past projects, sharing stories with you that you have not seen before. All the while preparing you for what the next decade holds for us as a team.
The Down Parka I am wearing serves as an indication of what is to come, but do not worry we will still be wearing flip flops and Khaki Shorts on many of our adventures, we have not left the majestic African Bush forever.
Though what I can share with you is that our stories will form part of an ongoing series focusing on highlighting the plight of conservation areas, the importance of tourism, and the need for citizen science in the same way our work has done for the past decade.
This time with some bears, wolves, beavers, glaciers, and snow-covered mountains.
So Subscribe to our channels to find out more.

CLIMATE
Our partnership with the Antarctic Science Foundation not only provides us with an opportunity to learn from some of the planets leading scientists, but also to assist them in collecting data.
We will be collecting clean air data across the continent as well as human biological data which will be used to understand the human body for interplanetary manned space missions.

MORE ON NAVIGATION
Today navigation is not much different, but with some assistance from modern maps and GPS navigation systems.
Though we still rely on the natural environment to find our way
∙ Using the position of our shadows on the ice
∙ The Direction of the wind
∙ The position of the sun
No matter how advance we are with satellite communication and navigation, we still need to know the basics.
