Play Park Design and Technical Detailing
This final technical assignment synthesizes all knowledge acquired in grading, earthworks, and hard/soft engineering by challenging students to design a functional play park on their previously graded site. The core objective is to move from conceptual design to buildable construction drawings, emphasizing graphic communication and technical specification.
Key Deliverables:
Design a functional play park layout on the latest contoured plan (incorporating the flattened area and retaining structures from Assignments 4 and 5).
Element Selection & Sectioning: Choose one key play element within the design, produce a complete set of construction drawings for the chosen element, including:
