Parents with successful Grade R, 1 and 8 applications for 2027 have until 15 June 2026 to accept or decline offers.

Please confirm your placement as soon as possible to help make spaces available for other learners. More than 64 000 additional places are expected to open as placements are confirmed.

Our educators attended the SACE Western Cape Capacity Building Workshop on the Code of Professional Ethics held at Rosendaal High School.

The workshop, facilitated by South African Council for Educators Western Cape, provided valuable insight into professional conduct, ethical responsibilities and best practices in education.

We appreciate the opportunity to participate alongside educators from some of our neighbouring schools as we continue to strengthen professionalism and excellence in teaching and learning.

Parents who applied on time for the 2027 school year for Grades R, 1 & 8 can now view their application outcomes on the WCED admissions system.

If your child has not yet been placed for 2027, please note that more than 64 000 spaces will become available as parents confirm school placements.

Based on advice from disaster management, Western Cape schools will be open on 13 May 2026.

There may be schools that need to remain closed due to infrastructure damage or access challenges caused by the storm, and they will request permission on a case by-case-basis.

Any schools approved for closure will communicate directly with parents.
