Fun team building night at scouts last night... well done to all our scouts for the lovely Mandala's you all created.... your insight, team work, creativity & thoughts really was outstanding. The learnings you all gained was invaluable. Thank you to our special guest Alton von Biljon for coming to lead this activity for our scouts.... great fun was had by all

Thank you to all our wonderful Cubs, pack scouters & our troop scouter Alex Duff for sharing & teaching our Cubs how to make compost, plant seeds & how to grow food for life.... looking forward to seeing our garden flourish....in the weeks to come...

Akela Janet du Preez relocated to Windhoek Namibia at the end of 2017... so proud to see her son Murray found a cub home nearby... attended his first cub meeting in Windhoek where he'll complete his leaping wolf ... well done Murray!!! Exceptionally proud to see you proudly wearing your 1st Edgemead Air cub uniform!!!! We all support you & wish you the best in your new pack and soon your new troop... our scouting family has no boundaries & we are so happy you have continued your scouting career!!! Cub fun day .... our cubs had a wonderful day yesterday afternoon with many fun activities where there senses were put to the test.... thx everyone for attending and to all our parents that helped to make the afternoon great.
The Beach Co-op We love the ocean and want to work with others that do too. It started with cleaning the rocky shore every new moon at Surfers Corner, Muizenberg.

Calling on all ....for your support to assist our cubs achieve the National Cub Challenge 2018 "Rethink single-use Plastic." We will be making Ecobricks..... from plastic 2 L coldrink bottles filled with non-recyclable plastic. Competition open till Wed 8 Aug 2018.... who will make the most ecobricks.... ???

Cubs had a fun evening tonight learning all about personal & road safety, being home alone, stranger danger & pedestrian & bicycle safety. It was really good to see how much they know and what to do in case of an accident / civil emergency/ personal safety.
Walking the "giraffe". The PLs later "fell off" and "broke" their legs needing them to be splinted by the rest of the patrol, stretchers made from poles and jackets and carried inside.
