One thing we must all remember, especially in these days of confusion amongst Muslims, is that if our Nabi (s.a.w) did not perform a cerain act, it does not maean performing such an act is haram or batil. This is the ijma` of Ahl Sunnah Fuqaha' throughout the ages. Throughout the ages here means from his death (s.a.w) till now. Those who oppose this has gone against the ijma` of this ummah. Such an act must not break a fixed ruling in the Usul al-Fiqh (Principles of Jurisprudence) or Qawa`id Fiqhiyyah (General Islamic |Law Princiles) and the Maqasid al-Shari`iyyah (Aims and Objectives of the Islamic Law) or be forbidden by a clear and unambiguous text clearing ruling such an act as impermissible

For 54 years, the Institute of Islamic Shariah Studies has served our community, teaching Islamic knowledge to children and adults alike. We need your support to keep this work going.

Your support funds our Junior Madrassa, our Adult Classes, and the day-to-day running and maintenance of the Institute, keeping it accessible to everyone, regardless of income.
