🌱 𝙂𝘼𝙍𝘿𝙀𝙉 𝙐𝙋𝘿𝘼𝙏𝙀 🌱

A little while ago, our children rolled up their sleeves, got their hands dirty, and started something special in our garden. 💚
Since then, we've watched tiny seedlings grow into healthy vegetables and beautiful flowers. Some of our crops have already been harvested, while others are still growing stronger with each passing day.

One of the best parts of gardening is that it teaches valuable life lessons. Our Grade R class experienced this first-hand when not everything grew as expected. Instead of giving up, they learned that sometimes we have to try again. They replanted their garden with nasturtiums (kappertjies), and now they're excited to watch their new plants grow. 🌼

Every garden box tells its own story – from crisp leafy vegetables and carrots to bright marigolds and now cheerful nasturtiums. Along the way, our children have learned about patience, responsibility, teamwork, and the joy of caring for something every single day.

There have been plenty of smiles, muddy hands, and proud little faces as they check on their gardens each morning. Watching their excitement over every new leaf and flower reminds us that the biggest lessons often grow from the smallest seeds. 💛

Every day is filled with new adventures! 💚

From practising letters and numbers, tracing, painting, cutting, sensory play, matching activities, creative art, and building with playdough, our little learners are growing in so many ways.

These fun activities help develop fine motor skills, concentration, problem-solving, creativity, early reading and maths skills, and most importantly... confidence! 🌟

At Brakanjan Educare, we believe children learn best when they're having fun, and every smile tells the story. 🤗

Our Baby Class 1 had so much fun exploring different textures by shredding newspapers. 🤍

Simple activities like these help strengthen little hands and fingers, improve fine motor skills, encourage sensory exploration and spark curiosity.

Sometimes the messiest play brings the biggest smiles and the best learning! 🤗

Our Potty Class has been hard at work with lots of fun, hands-on activities! 🖍️

From building with blocks and sorting colours to using jumbo crayons to colour big shapes, every activity has a purpose.

These playful moments help develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, concentration and problem-solving, while building confidence one little step at a time. 💛

Our June/July Holiday Aftercare Programme was everything we hoped it would be... and more! 💛

So many smiles, new friendships, messy crafts, exciting adventures, and lots of laughter filled our days. Seeing the children having so much fun made every moment worthwhile.

A big THANK YOU to everyone who helped make these holidays so special – our incredible teachers, Welsch Mini Circus, Sno Flo SA, and everyone else who played a part in creating such wonderful memories for our Brakanjan Educare family.

Until the next holiday... we'll be smiling about this one for a long time! 🌈✨

𝔾𝕣𝕒𝕕𝕖 ℝ enjoyed a wonderful time in the garden, where learning and nature came together in the most exciting way. 🌼

Our young gardeners planted healthy 𝕓𝕖𝕒𝕟 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕤 🌱 and colourful 𝕄𝕒𝕣𝕚𝕘𝕠𝕝𝕕 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕤 🌼 with great enthusiasm and care.

Each child had an opportunity to 𝕤𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕖 ☀️ while digging, planting, and learning how important it is to care for living things.

There were plenty of smiles, dirty hands, and proud moments as the children worked together to create something special. Watching them take ownership of their little garden and celebrate each step of the process was truly heartwarming. 💛

Holiday Program | Potty Class 🌨

Tiny hands, happy hearts and memories to treasure! 💛

Our Potty Class had the sweetest holiday program filled with fun and laughter. From a cosy Pyjamas, Popcorn & Movie Day, to enjoying hot chocolate and doughnuts, creating beautiful arts and crafts - ending it all with a special sweetie box. Every moment was full of smiles and excitement.

These little moments of learning, playing and making memories together are what childhood is all about. ✨

Holiday Program | Toddler Class 1 🌨

Holiday fun is always better when it's filled with smiles, creativity and little moments of discovery. 💛

Our Toddlers enjoyed wearing pajamas to school, having popcorn and watching a movie. They had some hot chocolate and doughnuts together. They ended the holiday fun with colouring fun and some arts and crafts - creating a sweetie box.

Watching their excitement, imagination and confidence grow through play is what makes these days so special. 🫶
