This morning our armed response noticed a suspicious white BMW that seemed to be abandoned off Kromboom road. Our officers monitored the vehicle and then contacted Lansdowne Police Station when they noticed the vehicles keys in the car and the window open.
Saps confirmed that the vehicle was stolen.

Our armed response officers were alerted to a male suspect trying to rob commuters walking through Smuts Park this morning on their way to work.
The suspect was apprehended and handed over to Lansdowne SAPs.

Our armed response is always willing to assist where they can. This motorist car wouldn't start after visiting the park. A quick jump start from one of our vehicles and she was on the road again.

Early morning patrols, making sure residents using the train get to work safely.

We were informed about residents who were being attacked in the early morning on their way to work. We stationed a vehicle at the Lawson road field to keep an eye out for potential suspects.

During our routine patrol we were alerted to people sorting out their recycling bags and their trolleys blocking the flow of traffic. We asked them to move off and made sure they cleaned up the mess they made.

Our Armed Response is always willing to assist where they can. A residents vehicle needed to be jump started and our friendly staff was there to assist.

On Saturday 15 December Lansdowne Police Station did a convoy through sector 1, 2 and 3 where CSS had the privilege to participate. Colonel Van Wyk let the convoy through the various areas followed by various neighborhood watch members and SAPs officials. Well done to these officers in blue who is always assisting the community.
