🌟 Make Your Mark! 🌟

For the final session of Observatory Library's Make Your Mark: Connecting Stories, Art & Self-Discovery Reading Programme, we celebrated International Dot Day with The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds.

In this delightful story, a young girl named Vashti feels stuck and believes she isn't creative. Frustrated, she makes a single bold dot on her paper. With a little encouragement from her teacher, that tiny dot sparks an incredible journey of creativity, confidence, and self-discovery.

The story reminds us that every great masterpiece starts with a small beginning. Its powerful message encourages us to overcome self-doubt, believe in ourselves, take the first step, and never underestimate the impact of encouragement.

✨ Just make a mark and see where it takes you! ✨

🟠🟠🟠 Happy International Dot Day! 🟠🟠🟠

Today we celebrate International Dot Day, inspired by Peter H. Reynolds' book The Dot. The day encourages creativity, courage, and self-expression by reminding us that a single small mark can be the start of something amazing.

Join us in celebrating the power of creativity, imagination, and making your mark on the world.

Happy International Dot Day from all of us at Observatory Library!
