ππ§ Proud of our Eco-Champions! π§π
From March to June, our learners took part in the "Save a Fishie" Schools Eco Challenge, learning about pollution, waste reduction, recycling, water conservation, and protecting our natural ecosystems.
They put that learning into action through community clean-ups, recycling drives, and cleaning up the vlei right here in Westlake! πΏπ
We may not have won, but we are so proud of our learners for their hard work and commitment to a cleaner, greener community. π
We will continue to champion environmental awareness and do our part to take care of our environment.
Well done, Eco-Champions β you make us proud! π
Thank you Sue Heese and Ms Adams for coordinating and facilitating this initiative.

At Westlake Primary, our motto is βDream Big!β Seeing former learners like Diego live out that motto fills us with pride. Now a Grade 12 learner, Diego has embraced numerous leadership roles and continues to make a positive impact in his school community. We are incredibly proud of all he has achieved and wish him every success for the future.
