Our Senior and Junior debating teams💙 will be competing in the Quarter Finals this afternoon at WPPS. We are also very excited to announce that they have qualified to compete NATIONALLY in Gqerberha this September. 🙌We are super proud of this achievement!! We cannot wait to see what comes next for this vibrant team of orators.

31 July - an unforgettable day of celebration as we marked a momentous milestone - 100 years of history and memories....

Our centenary celebrations kicked off with a truly heartwarming special assembly. Learners, staff and guests were welcomed into the hall by the vibrant rhythms of our Marimba band.🎼
We were honoured to welcome back past learners, Faith and Caleb Thomas as well as Mubeen Ebrahim, who took us down memory lane with inspiring stories of their time here. Beloved former teacher, Mrs James also shared wonderful reflections from her years shaping young minds at our school.

To hear our Junior and Senior Choirs sing for our 100th birthday was a powerful reminder of what this milestone is truly about: our children....One hundred years of history echoed in their voices, and the future of our school shines just as brightly through them.

A thank you to SGB members who joined us for the occasion and a special thank you to invited guests that included past members of staff.

The excitement continued after break where learners put their knowledge to the test answering questions about their 100-year-old school. Tracey Carter kept everyone on their feet with high-energy entertainment💃👯‍♀️ and our staff brought extra smiles and laughter with a fantastic dress-up activity.👗👚

It was a brilliant day honoring our rich past while looking forward to a bright future.We thank all who joined, helped and celebrated with us. Here's to the next 100 years!💫

The City of Cape Town Fire and Rescue Service visited our Grade R learners and spent time demonstrating important fire safety practices. Through engaging activities and interactive discussions, learners gained valuable knowledge on how to stay safe and respond appropriately to fire emergencies at home and at school. 🚒

The Blue School and St Stephen's Anglican Church Community both celebrate a century of existence in Pinelands this year. As neighbours on Central Square, the two communities will present a collaborative celebratory evening of music.
