Manners4Minors presents lessons at schools through Misss Manners and her puppet friends, Boastful Betty, Caring Kurt, Princess Penny and Rodney Rude. The aim is to introduce children to the benefits of good manners and social skills though interactive role play using the puppets. Lessons include whining and nagging, restaurant behaviour, good sportsmanship, money skills, bullying, telephone skills

What a super DEMO at Peekaboo Day care on Monday 11th. Thanks for having me Louise and all the lovely Teachers and assistants. I had great fun and loved watching the children in action. Some fabulous comments and answers - especially Aiden and Vincent and loved that Trent showed everyone how to interupt politely, well remembered, so proud of you!!

I have had such a fun time over the past few days - receiving the calls from the children to RSVP to the party. Some of our first years are busy learning PARTY MANNERS and one of the things we teach is that it is good manners to RSVP! Wow, what lovely calls I have had from these little ones. Keep up your good manners.

On Wednesday 30 September I visited West Riding Primary School to present a Bully workshop to their Grade R - Grade 3 learners. What a lovely school and the children loved it. I was so impressed with a little girl who opened the front door for me as I arrived with my big bag! The Grade R group absolutely blew Katja and I away - they sat beautifully and I was so impressed with these little ones raising their hands. As I left Nande waited and insisted on helping me carry my bag all the way to my car! Well done West Riding Primary!!
Here the children are hearing about what a bully is and what they do. Simple things like teasing and picking on someone lots of times or pushing someone out the line regularly to get them in trouble are examples of being a bully.

October is Anti-Bullying month. Earlier this term in August I visited Sunningdale Primary School to present the Manners4Minors Bully workshop - thanks for having me - what a wonderful morning with your learners.
Here is Princess Penny asking "What is a bully?". Caring Kurt was very sad and was crying and didn't want to go to school because Rodney Rude was being a bully. We say "Stop! Don't do that!".
