Collaborating with big brands to bring our Vision to life.

Zeekoevlei High School Football is no longer just an ordinary school soccer team but it’s a brand. What started as a small school soccer team has grown into something far greater, a brand built on hope, unity, and purpose. It has become a symbol for our community, representing resilience, pride, and the belief that something meaningful can rise from humble beginnings.

Behind this journey are countless sacrifices, long hours, and unwavering dedication. Every challenge faced and every moment invested helped shape not just a team, but a movement that inspires the people around us.

This is no longer only about football. It is about creating opportunities, bringing people together, and proving that with vision, sacrifice, and heart, a small dream can become something powerful enough to uplift an entire community. ⚽️🏆

Zeekoevlei High at the Wynberg Boys Freedom Cup ⚽️

Zeekoevlei High delivered a spirited and resilient performance at this year’s Wynberg Boys Freedom Cup, competing with a young squad in a highly competitive U19 tournament.

Group Stage Results:

* Lost 2–1 vs Pinelands
* Drew 0–0 vs Urban Academy (PE)
* Won 5–1 vs Curro Century City
* Lost 4–2 vs Rondebosch Boys

These results saw the team progress into the Plate section, where their character and growth truly stood out.

Plate Section:

* Won 1–0 vs Norman Henshilwood
* Drew 0–0 vs Milnerton (won 3–2 on penalties)
* Plate Final: Lost 2–0 vs Pinelands High

Zeekoevlei finished the tournament as Plate runners-up, showing determination, discipline, and unity throughout.

The team also celebrated three Man of the Match performances, with each player receiving R1000 cash prizes courtesy of Discovery.

Considering the squad’s average age of just 16 in a U19 competition, this was a strong and promising campaign. With the added pressure of being defending champions, the boys showed maturity beyond their years and laid a solid foundation for the future.

The future is bright. Together, we grow stronger. 💙⚽️
