On Friday, 18 October 2024, the Class of 2024 had their Valedictory ceremony which was held at the school hall. The hall was decorated in a very beautiful manner fit for international awards. This event was a poignant moment of joy and pride and all elements were there; beautiful musical interludes from the school music choir, keynote address from the Deputy Principal, Mr Blayi, blessings and annointing from the Pastors and much more.
A “Guard of Honour” (more like singing, ululating and alles) made up of the teachers and Grade 12 learners clad with their Graduation garbs was absolutely amazing.
Ngaphu Lisakhanya scooped the 1st overall position (Gold), Mabhoko Nande achieved 2nd overall position (Silver) and Makwela Siyabonga took the 3rd overall position (Bronze) in Grade 12 Term 3.
Furthermore, Ngaphu Lisakhanya is the Top Learner in Term 3 in Humanities; Mabhoko Nande - Top earner in Term 3 in Sciences and Sijadu Lukhanyo - Top Learner in Term 3 in Commerce.

@ Bulumko we certainly are not taking eyesight for granted and the importance of looking after our learners’ eyes cannot be understated. We are aware of the everyday habits that are hurting the learners’ vision as most of the learning occurs through the visual system, making it an essential component of our learners’ ability to learn successfully.
On Thursday, 25 July 2024, we had learners’ eye care program which aimed to detect visual problems. This causes poor focusing and eye teaming abilities that lead to symptoms such as lack of concentration, headaches and unwillingness to read.
These symptoms interfere with our learners’ learning process at school. The learners who participated in the program got their eyes tested and those who require glasses will be provided to them.
