Make a splash with The Collective The Collective is an interest group, started by three UCT students at the beginning of 2011.

Michelle Olivier, Mica La Vita and Yvette Adams are all undergraduates at UCT, housed in the Engineering and Built Environment, Humanities and Commerce faculties respectively. They met at a week-long leadership conference in 2010 hosted by the Department of Student Affairs and the Career Development Centre. A shared passion for broadening the scope of where learning takes place, leadership develop

Democratic Governance & Rights Unit, UCT & 'The Collective" - Constitution Week 2011.

Our inaugural and the finale event for UCT's Democratic Governance & Rights Unit's Constitution Week 2011.

The topic was "What builds a Nation? - The Constitution: Hot or not?" Themed as 'a verbal football match', audience members reacted and remarked on panellists' views by using their red and yellow ref cards. What a fun evening!
