Michelle Olivier, Mica La Vita and Yvette Adams are all undergraduates at UCT, housed in the Engineering and Built Environment, Humanities and Commerce faculties respectively. They met at a week-long leadership conference in 2010 hosted by the Department of Student Affairs and the Career Development Centre. Democratic Governance & Rights Unit, UCT & 'The Collective" - Constitution Week 2011.
Our inaugural and the finale event for UCT's Democratic Governance & Rights Unit's Constitution Week 2011.
The topic was "What builds a Nation? - The Constitution: Hot or not?" Themed as 'a verbal football match', audience members reacted and remarked on panellists' views by using their red and yellow ref cards. What a fun evening!
