Six SAE student projects have received nine nominations at the 2026 Loeries, recognising creative work across Film and Sound.

Each project represents the combined efforts of emerging writers, directors, producers, cinematographers, editors, sound creatives, designers and collaborators who have taken their ideas from concept through to finished work.

We’re proud to see our students and their creative teams recognised for the work they have created.

Industry Weeks at SAE Johannesburg.

From portfolio reviews and masterclasses to industry talks and practical demonstrations, our students spent Industry Weeks connecting with professionals from across the creative industries.

Across Animation, Games, Film, VFX and Sound, students had the opportunity to hear different perspectives, ask questions, gain feedback and learn more about the industries they’re preparing to enter.
