🏛️ Parow High School at Parliament 🏛️
We are incredibly proud of Samantha September, Grade 11 learner, Junior City Councillor and Deputy Junior Mayor of Cape Town, who recently had the honour of serving as a youth speaker at the Parliament of the Republic of South Africa during the launch of the Reading Ambassadors Programme.
In her address, Samantha spoke about the importance of literacy, education and creating opportunities for young people to shape their own futures. She highlighted the role that youth can play as leaders and changemakers when given the opportunity to make a difference in their communities.
Representing Parow High School, the City of Cape Town and the youth of South Africa, Samantha engaged with Members of Parliament, youth leaders and stakeholders from across the country while advocating for youth empowerment and active citizenship.
We are extremely proud of Samantha’s leadership, commitment and passion for creating positive change. She continues to be an inspiration to our school community and a true example of turning vision into victory.
