Salt River Fire Station treated our learners to the most wonderful experience this morning! 🚒👨🏽‍🚒🔥

From learning about fire safety, watching the Firemen suit-up, riding in a fire truck and spaying fire hoses, this was an outing that will live on in our memories for years and years to come.

A BIG thank you to the Salt River Fire Station and its incredible team!

The Foundation Phase learners enjoyed a morning at Curro Rosen Castle Activity Center. They enjoyed decorating biscuits, pretend shopping, opening bank accounts, reporting on the weather and caring for sick animals! What a morning!

Thank you to the in collaboration with the Observatory Lirbary for a fun filled morning of science experiments to celebrate Science week!

A huge thank you to Sheen Academy and Observatory Library for facilitating a coding workshop for our high school learners! 😁🙌

Our Foundation Phase learners enjoyed a fun play-date with the Grade 4 classes at Cannons Creek Independent School last Friday.

We played some games and got to decorate and eat some yummy biscuits! 👩🏾‍🤝‍👨🏼🍪

It was lovely to have the opportunity to interact with children from another school. Thanks, for hosting us 😁

Last week Friday, our Foundation Phase learners enjoyed an exciting outing to 🦒🐍

They loved seeing the different animals they have been talking about in class, in real life. They also got the chance to hold a huge python!

Today, Mary Kihn School was awarded second place in the National School Nutrition Programme's School Food Production competition - category B 😁🥈
