As the school year comes to an end, I'd like to thank our wonderful extra murals for a successful year. We've loved seeing how much our children enjoy their lessons and how much they have progressed with their respective skills.

Knobless cylinders:
What is their purpose?
They are a sensorial material consisting of four sets of colored, wooden cylinders, each with a different set of characteristics (changing height, changing diameter, or both). The primary goal of this material is to refine a child's visual discrimination of dimension and size, helping them develop fine motor skills, eye-hand coordination, and concentration. Children use them to sort, build towers, or create patterns, which indirectly prepares them for mathematics and writing.

We Love Playball!!!

For the month of August we looked at Reuse, Reduce and Recycle. We are all heroes, young and old, when we choose to put our Environment first.
A few of our children brought trash they found on the beach - how sad that humans have so little regard for one another and animal life.

Lots of fun and plenty of giggles when the bubbles come out 😁

"It’s Just Bubbles"

When all else fails, bring out the bubbles. They never disappoint! 😅Seriously though, bubbles are pure kid magic! They make kids laugh, help them play, and even teach new skills while having a blast. Who doesn’t love bubbles 🫧💛

Our kids are so giving and loving and caring❤️

There are times when our daycare kids take care of us.

It’s in the way they hug us without asking when we’re having a rough morning.
It’s in the way they bring us pretend coffee when they’re playing kitchen.
It’s the way they sit close when they sense we’re not feeling 100%.
Or when they draw us pictures and say, “I made this for you.”

They don’t even know they’re doing it, but their little gestures heal us in ways we didn’t know we needed.
Yes, we care for them… but sometimes, they take care of us right back.

And that’s the kind of love that makes this work worth every bit of it. 💛
