We are blessed with amazing staff and assistants of whom many have been part of our family for more than ten years. Our Crèche-section is registered with the Department of Social Development. They follow an Educare programme and provide full day care for babies as well as toddlers, from three months up to 5 years. Our Grade R-section is registered with the Department of Education. The qualified and experienced educators follow the CAPS curriculum with a thorough and structured daily programme for learners turning six. Full day and half day options are available. At Goodwoodpark Crèche cm Pre-primary School we offer excellent education within a caring Christian environment. We strive to promote the holistic development of our children and to support each learner in reaching their full potential. Our goals are:
• To recognise each child as a unique individual and to accept and respect him for who he is.
• To nurture in every child a positive self-image, a feeling of self-worth, self-confidence and respect for others as well as respect for authority.
• To give guidance in a loving, sympathetic but firm environment where the child can feel safe and function with confidence.
• To give guidance in social and emotional development in order for the child to adapt to our ever changing society.
• To nurture an understanding of culture and religion not only of his own heritage but that of others too. We offer a safe and loving environment with nutritious home cooked meals which include breakfast, lunch and refreshments. Please call us on 021 591 3383 (Crèche) or 021 591 7946 (Gr R) if you need to make an appointment to see our school - we will be more than happy to show you around.
