WholeHealth Renewal Identity & Self-Understanding Module 10/7/26 - LifeShine Wellness Centre 08/07/2026

The way you respond to life isn't fixed.

Much of it has been learned.

What if understanding those patterns could change the way you relate to yourself, your relationships and the choices you make?

Our Identity & Self-Understanding Workshop offers a practical, evidence-informed space to explore who you are beneath the habits you've developed.

Join us on 10 July at LifeShine Wellness Centre.

WholeHealth Renewal Identity & Self-Understanding Module 10/7/26 - LifeShine Wellness Centre This module explores identity and how our underlying emotional and behavioural patterns shape the way we respond to stress, form habits and influence our health.

I have been working for a few years on what comes after the Enneagram Discovery Session or Enneagram Workshop.

I found this with myself, and many private and business clients reflect the same thing to me. That first exploration is such a powerful unpacking that lands as ā€œsho, that is meā€, but then life carries on.

True to how I develop processes and programs, I have been experimenting with myself and applying what lands with private clients while refining and tweaking as I go, for close on a decade now.

And my biggest truth being at the core of this: humans learn through experience, not through a textbook, others’ experiences, or abstract concepts. It takes Understanding into Knowing!

So I have built a simple three month process called The Enneagram Practice.
The aim is to take the Enneagram out of the report and into the moments where our patterns actually show up, to grow a conscious space between awareness and reaction.

Stress. Relationships. Work. Pressure. Old stories. Reactions.

And in this process, it breathes more room into our emotional awareness and what sits behind our choices. Fear? Excitement? Anxiety? Connection? Kiffness?

I have invited a few people directly and am opening the remaining spaces for the first round, mid July through mid October.

This will need to hit you in the HELL YES rather than Kinda Cool. ;-)
DM me if this lands as a HELL YES.

Last week I got to spend time with an EO Accelerator group.

When I started my first business, I boxed people who built and ran businesses as all knowing, overtly competitive and unrelatable.

The more humanity I have explored in myself through my work and through living, the more these assumptions have changed and, more accurately, completely inverted.

Especially in this crew of humans I found to be insatiably curious, wide open, courageous beyond measure and so very comfortable with being vulnerably human.

6 very different men and the lovely Taryn.

..that was so much fun. I hope you all have a cracker middle and end of 2026 šŸ™

MAGIC workshop moments

There are these moments in workshops that change the way someone sees themselves. Moments where an old belief softens and something more human, more honest, takes its place.

I recently facilitated a 90 minute refresher and reconnection session for the Timbuktu Sales team - lekker humans. Their original workshop last year was one of the most powerful group experiences I have been part of, as a facilitator.

The conversation moved toward how differently we each experience support, give support and need support.

One brave soul shared that they didn’t believe they were particularly good at supporting others when they needed it.

And then came that magic moment.

Almost immediately, the rest of the team reflected back that they were actually the person who showed up the most consistently for everyone else.

Watching how that was received, it's so tangible that a pattern and belief was being rewritten and, what was felt in the room - sho... just friggen magic!

And it is not only the person receiving it who is experiencing a rewrite, it's all of us.

Thank you Jonty Medcalf for trusting me to play a role in your team journey and to be a part of spaces where honesty and vulnerability deepened connection šŸ™

"Culture and team dynamics are fundamental and these sessions are an incredibly effective way of short cutting to the magic" Jonty Medcalf, Head of Sales, Timbuktu Travel

Book tickets for Feel It | 16 May 2026 | Hout Bay 15/05/2026

Tomorrow morning I’m hosting my last FEEL IT session in Hout Bay until Spring.

Just music in nature and a space most of us rarely give ourselves to come back to ourselves.

Most of us underestimate how much stress, noise and emotional load we quietly carry in our nervous systems.

Come to release and reset. It will move the dial more than you can imagine. Money back guaranteed ;-)

And leave a little lighter than you arrived.

If you feel the pull, pull in 🤩🌿

Book tickets for Feel It | 16 May 2026 | Hout Bay FEEL IT is a curated, one-hour experience that blends music, movement, and mindfulness to help you reset, recharge, and reconnect. Inspired by Secret Sunrise, the work of Susan David (Emotional Agility), and Dr. Joe Dispenza (Epigenetics & the Power of the Mind), this experience is designed to shift...

I’ve discovered over 12 years of studying the Enneagram that there is a deep connection between our emotional patterns and where dis ease shows up in the body.

What feels empowering about this is that, through this lens, we can begin to see clearly where something in us needs care, acceptance, and a little more allowing.

Knowing what is healthy is often not enough.

Under pressure, we return to familiar patterns… even when they work against us.

I’m running a half day workshop on the 8th of May at LifeShine that explores this more deeply.

It’s part of WholeHealth Renewal.

A body of work shaped by 17 years of exploring my own health across the mental, emotional, and physical.

The work draws from research like Radical Remission, Blue Zones, Positive Psychology, along with lived experience and real world application.

WholeHealth Renewal is a structured, experiential programme designed to support people navigating significant life transitions with more clarity, self understanding, and sustainable change.

Identity. Habits. A more conscious way forward.

There are moments in life when what used to work no longer does.

After illness
After burnout
After loss
After a major shift
Energy changes
Perspective shifts

Old roles and habits no longer fit šŸ˜’

This work exists for that moment.

If you feel like you’re in one of those spaces, you’re welcome to reach out and I can share more.

embodied Rage is the way — Brett W Simpson 30/04/2026

Embodied rage is the way.

If you had said that to me a year ago, I would have politely nodded and thought you were full of sh .

Like most, I believed calmness came from managing my emotions better. I didn’t realise that I only allowed certain emotions if I understood or justified them, and it was often a story where someone else was wrong and I was this virtuous one ;-) (guess who was the one who was full of sh ;-)

I came across the work of Joe Hudson, who works with leaders inside Apple, OpenAI and Google, and something about his approach didn’t just pull everything together… it landed in a very different way.

He has this deep ferocity around serving others and deep humanity (kindness) which, for me, makes him quite unique. He has this experiential approach around embodiment which, for me, is deeply counterintuitive… that rage, when it is fully felt in the body without story or justification, can be the doorway to calmness, clarity and something far more honest.

No blaming, no fixing, no analysing… just feeling.

At the time, I didn’t understand it at all. But I was stuck in a familiar pattern of my own, going in circles in my work and feeling increasingly frustrated, inconsistent and, if I’m honest, lost in a way of thinking and feeling that was driving me nuts.

So I called a mate and coach to help. My whole perspective around anger, sadness and shame being the path back to myself would have sounded like hippy crap, but through an experience, it changed absolutely everything.

I realise that even reading this blog might be a stretch, but I promise its content will set in motion a path, if you resonate with where I was, that will bring you deeper calmness than you have ever experienced.

Seems much needed with the nuttiness of the world right now ;-)

embodied Rage is the way — Brett W Simpson I have been following a lot of Joe Hudson’s work lately and stumbled across this video offering this counterintuitive idea that RAGE is actually the path to calmness and clarity.Ā  Joe Hudson is this top notch coach to highly functioning executives at Apple, OpenAI, and Google.
