I am excited in empowering with health, peace of mind and financial prosperity

See you at the next event
Good day everyone.

I am meeting the principal tomorrow to discuss the broken down soccer poles and tennis court fences.

The WCED does not give funding for the maintenance of school infrastructure (what????)

1. Does anyone have contacts with steel places / welders to get quotes to replace the soccer poles and the fence?

2. Who is willing to contribute to the repairs/replacement of the items? I will pledge on behalf of my business.

Let me know so we can help fix these items. We can then maybe have a soccer / tennis tournament once the items have been repaired / replaced. Us old dogs against the students?
Good evening all

I trust you are all well and keeping safe during these very difficult times.
As you all know Mr Neumanns court case continues this week on Wed 3 Feb 2021. We are hereby making an impassioned plea to all parents and learners to show support on Wednesday for a 1 hour picket in Cape Town between 10h30 and 12pm. Please indicate if you will be attending as this will determine the transport requirements.
Many thanks everybody.

Hi all. I attended matric at HHS in 1987 just for 1 year because of the 1985 boycott.
I am trying to make contact with Hazel Dawson that matriculated in 1989. I would appreciate if I could get her contact details if on any record. Thank you

Further Update received today From Mr Neumann Snr

Good evening All
(22 Feb 2021)

The hearing was inexplicably delayed by almost two hours this morning... it later emerged that the WCED legal team was busy filing papers wrt the mason witness and the presiding officer was "applying her mind " to the recusal request.

We already now know that she ruled against recusal. Wesley was then placed back on the stand and was grilled until 17h00.

It seem as if they are attempting to wear him down then force him into making incriminating statements... however our attorney afterwards indicated that he was happy with the proceedings and that they never got anything from their grilling ( maybe cause there is nothing).

There was a fight back from our side as we indicated that we intend taking the mason judgement and recusal judgement to the courts .. this led to fiery exchange but eventually the hearing was adjourned until 16 and 17march..this will give us the time to lodge to another court... however it will increase our cost because we would also need senior council.

By going to a higher court we would be allowed to have all this underhand tactics and dirty methods out in the public domain....which they did not want ...hench their ruling against public attending the hearing.

Thanks for all the support and continue your help in any possible way.
Will keep you informed if there are any new developments.
Regards Donald Neumann

Further Update received last week From Mr Neumann Snr

Good Day all...
I would have loved to say good news and enjoy the weekend alas not to be.
Firstly the presiding officer rules that Mr Mason had to be removed from OUR WITNESS list... this is after he was included as a witness before the hearing begun. In fact he was a key witness as to the bolstering of charges against Wesley Neumann.
I am not too legally educated but I find it strange that they can dictate who our witnesses should be...can it be the presiding officer is not as neutral as we would love to believe ???.. they would have had the chance to cross examine this witness and totally destroy his evidence if they could...however they preferred to refuse him permission to testify. Of our 17 witnesses we hope to call they now have single out him to be removed .. and they have ruled to that effect.

We have indicated that we will go to the next court to force his testimony... ha ha do it if you can afford it.
We have now filed for the recusal of the presiding officer..ha ha that be conveyed to us on Monday.
They did come up with a solution...Wesley Neumann resigns from his post and walk away with his benefits ... or he pleads guilty and take a suspension of 3 months without pay.
Needless to say this was rejected with the contempt it deserves.

Their laughter at taking this case further..could stem from the fact that they know we don't have the financial backing.

We will fight to the bitter end. Brian Schreuder thinks that he will ...as his last office duty teach this snotgat hotnot a lesson. He wasn't in the struggle.. we will teach him a lesson as only true teachers can. AMANDLA

Afternoon All
RE: HEATHFIELD HIGH SCHOOL RELIEF FUND

We wish to thank all the people who donated towards the HEATHFIELD HIGH RELIEF FUND.

To date, the princely sum of R20321.00 was collected.

This, in reality, would almost cover the wages of two workers.

Unfortunately, we must see to the well-being of 11 SGB workers, and we will be dividing this so that they all at least receive something.

Whilst we are highly appreciative of the donations received we would appeal to all who can to continue contributing towards this fund.

Any assistance, large or small, will make a difference. Please continue to share this donation drive with the entire Heathfield High School network.

Thanking you in advance

W.Neumann

Dear Heathfield High Alumni & Interested Persons

RE: ASSISTANCE - RELIEF FUND

With the extended lockdown as announced by the President, we, the Heathfield High Family find ourselves in the unfortunate position of being negatively affected in many ways.

One of the worst implications are financially as we are dependent on the regular payment of school fees to pay the salaries of certain personnel. The lockdown has effectively closed the channel for fee collection.

Should we be unable to pay the salaries of personnel employed by the school. The school will have to retrench these workers which will have far-reaching consequences for the school and in particular the delivery of quality education for our children.

Therefore, I would like to appeal to you to support your school in its hour of need. I humbly request that you donate a nominal amount to this worthy cause. No amount will be too small to make a difference in the life of a child.

Now more than ever we need your support. I invite everyone connected to the school to donate to this fund. Let's carry the torch of hope for children during this difficult time.

“An injury to one is an injury to all” — through our collective solidarity we can weather the storm to a brighter dawn.

In our green, grey and white proudly Heathfield High forever!!!

Looking forward to your continuous support.

LIESL and Tanya Mulligan of Heathfield High School were exceptional age group sprinters of the Western Province Senior Schools Sports Union (WPSSSU).

Having lost to Mercia Isaacs of the Eastern Province at the SASSSA champs in 1982 (girls under 15), the twins avenged those defeats in the girls under 17 at the SASSSA champs in Paarl in 1983.

They ran with the grace and elegance of their school coach the late Ismail Collier - himself a sprint champion at SA Schools and SA clubs level.

Collier attracted them to club athletics in 1985.

By then the twins were most certainly in the hearts and minds of the Cape fans.

Collier did not reckon with the form of Shaheeda Majiet who was chomping at the bit, a dedicated athlete who emerged from the shadows in the absence of the suspended Suezette Arendse.

(Arendse was suspended because she had run for Hewat while residing in Paarl. Boland claimed her, WP claimed her, if neither Boland nor WP could have her, she was better left out of the SAAAB championship in Port Elizabeth in 1985. Silly, if you asked me.)

Why not run as a neutral/individual athlete, for Pete's sake.

Majiet, lane six, seized the moment and put one over the Mulligan twins, setting the SAAAB women's sprint records at the South African Amateur Athletic Board's (SAAAB) Prestige meeting at the Vygieskraal stadium in Cape Town in 1985.

Arendse's return in 1986 made a clean sweep of the sprint records, long jump and relay.

The photograph, as captured by Mogamat Toffar, shows the twins coming out of the 200m turn ahead of Majiet who reeled them in down the home straight.

In lane 3 is Portia Philander, another sprinter of renowned repute.

Hi All
Further to the appeals on social media We are trying to help via the alumni and are waiting for Exco to okay the purchase of some stuff that can be delivered.
EXCO... Please check your emails and advise.

I have a suggestion :
Has the school tried asking the learners to each bring 1 roll of toilet paper per month to school?
This could alleviate the shortage of loo paper.
I believe that there should also be some investment on their part too.
Thank you
