A huge THANK YOU to the BHS family 💙❤️
Thanks to your incredible donations, the Interact Society put together *327 Jars of Hope*!
One jar feeds a family of 4. That means 327 jars will feed *1,308 people* in our community.🎉🙏The jars will be distributed by the Rotary Club, The Lions Club and
Teachmaling Women's Project. The car guards at Park and Shop were also worthy recipients.
Massive shoutout to the amazing Interact Committee and all members who stayed to fill jars. You guys and dolls are amazing.🫶
With gratitude,
Ms. Murphy

Tian van Deventer is a past pupil of Bergvliet High School (matric 2007) and a very loved young man and member of the community. We are doing everything we can to increase awareness of his campaign to help him raise funds for much-needed medical treatment. Let’s help Tian reach his goal!

Wishing all the fathers in our school community a Wondeful Father’s Day. The role you play each day in the lives of your own children and in the lives of the learners at BHS, makes a difference to them. Continue to be a role model, source of inspiration and motivating them each and every day, every step of the way.

Dear Matrics
The MATRIC REVISION SCHOOL will take place in the middle week of the school holidays, from 6 - 10 July 2026. Registration closes on Wednesday, 1 July.
Every year, there is a final rush after the matrics get their June reports. At the moment, many of the original courses are fully booked, but we have created additional duplicate courses to accommodate the large numbers who are still applying. Although we will try to accommodate everyone who applies, registration continues to be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once you have registered, I will send each matric learner a personal schedule indicating your courses and times etc.
Don’t miss out on this opportunity to improve your marks. The matrics who have attended the programme in the last 10 years can testify to the positive impact attending the Revision School has had on their Prelim and Final results. It is an investment in your future!
Warm regards
Kathy

Lifelong learners tend to have broader social networks because courses and training programmes provide opportunities to meet people with shared interests and expand professional connections.
It is so rewarding to hear the buzz in the classrooms at night and on Saturdays, as like-minded folk connect. Why not learn something and make new friends by joining a course this winter? It beats hibernating at home!
We have many new and exciting courses on offer in the third term programme.
You can download our detailed Third Term Prospectus by clicking on this link:https://bhs.org.za/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/CEP-PROSPECTUS-TERM-3-2026_c.pdf and the Registration Form here: https://bhs.org.za/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Registration-Form-term-3-2026.docx
The Matric Revision School is registering very well, and we have had to create additional classes to accommodate the large numbers of matrics wishing to do the courses. If you would still like to register, you can download the prospectus by clicking here:https://bhs.org.za/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/PROSPECTUS-MATRIC-REVISION-SCHOOL-2026.pdf and the registration form here: https://bhs.org.za/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/REGISTRATION-FORM-GRADE-12-REVISION-SCHOOL-2026-Editable.docx I will send a personal schedule for your child once you have registered.
Registration is ongoing, but the final day for registration is at least 3 days before the relevant course begins. You can register electronically or pop into our Finance office to make card payments between 08:30 and 15:30, Monday to Friday, during the school term.
We’d love to see you in our corridors soon!
Warm regards
Kathy
