I'm choosing the course anyday! I've heard someone saying they dropped Accouting Sciences because it was UJ and wanted to be a Witsie. 😊 I wont mention the course at Wits but it's a tricky one. 🙏

1 100 qualifications REMOVED! ⚠️

Over 1,100 old qualifications are being removed because they’re considered outdated, but if you’re already studying, your qualification is still valid as long as you complete it within the allowed timeframe. Please do not PANIC!

I'm still researching this and will have a video for you soon but in the meantime note the following:

This mainly affects older pre-2009 (legacy) qualifications and future enrolments. It does NOT mean everyone’s qualification suddenly becomes useless overnight. From top of my head I can see a shake up in the Computer Science, marketing, media, journalism space but again, DO NOT PANIC!

For now, check with your institution and make sure your qualification is still active on the SAQA database.

Today we are exploring the community service and internship salaries within the health sector!

💥Nursing or teaching ?
Nursing: based on career mobility and salaries of course.

👌Marketing or Communication?
Marketing ( add certifications to raise employability chances)

😎Clinical or Industrial Psychology?
Clinical, once qualified the money is good but you might struggle to get placement with the current budget cuts however if you are happy with self employment, the eanring potential has no ceiling.

My only issue with Industrial Psych is you will compete with people who did HR for jobs however getting a job with an undergrad is easier and the salaries can be lucrutive in corporate.

🔑Accounting or Mechanical Engineering?
Mechanical Engineering because you can work in banking, finance and consulting with your undergrad. Accounting is good on its own but between the two I will go for this type of Engineering. Also Accounting is a long way to freedom, it's either you go big or you go home! Once you make it, you are ELITE.

⚠️Software Engineering or Cybersecurity?
Cybersecurity based on the demand and sometimes money but the job is extremely stressful.
