Join our info evening for parents and learners at Privatschule Swakopmund on 8 June and learn more about our high school abroad programmes for Namibian learners and recent matriculants! The event will take place at Private School Swakopmund on Monday, 8 June, starting at 18:00. No registration is necessary, friends and family are welcome 🌍✈️

Meet our wonderful host families! 😍 We would not be able to offer our intercultural exchange opportunities without the amazing support from the host families who open their homes and hearts to our students 💜

Through them, our exchange students experience everyday life, family traditions, local meals, new languages and so much more. We truly could not do it without them and are incredibly grateful for their support! 👏

Our 11 exchange students from Germany and France have arrived in Namibia and are ready for 3 weeks filled with cultural experiences, learning and connections ✈️🌍🙌

During their first two weeks in Windhoek they will live with local host families and attend St Paul's College and Delta Secondary School Windhoek. In addition, they will volunteer in different social projects in collaboration with Wadadee Cares e.V. and meet with representatives of the German and French embassies.

We look forward to three exciting, enriching and memorable weeks with them and would like to extend a massive thank you to all our partners, schools, sponsors and volunteers who have made this amazing programme possible! 💜

In just a few days' time, five exchange students from Spelle, Germany, will embark on a 3-week cultural exchange to Namibia! ✈️🇩🇪🇳🇦

They had their pre-departure orientation esrlier this month and can't wait to leave the snow and winter temperatures in Germany behind for sunny Namibia! ☀️

Our students will be joined by 6 German and French exchange students who are currently spending a full exchange year in South Africa 🇿🇦

Together they will explore Windhoek and Swakopmund, live with local host families, attend St Paul's College, and participate in volunteer projects with Wadadee Cares e.V. 👏

Our Namibian exchange student Inotila from St Paul's College in Windhoek had the opportunity to experience life in Germany for two weeks this year and we look forward to giving many other young Namibians the opportunity to follow in her footsteps! ✈

From family dinners, church visits and go-karting with her host family to exploring Frankfurt with her fellow exchange students, Kirsten's time in Germany was full of special moments and memories 🌍✈️

"One of the biggest cultural differences I experienced between Namibia and Germany was how important family time is in Germany. My host family and I really bonded during my stay with them and it feels like I now have a second home in Germany", Kirsten says.

We look forward to expanding our cultural exchange programmes between Namibia, Germany and the rest of the world, and to giving more Namibian learners the opportunity to make the world their home! 💜

Some of the highlights of Inotila's exchange to Germany included exploring different cities in both the South and the North of Germany with her fellow exchange students and her host family. From castles to pumpkin exhibitions and public art installations, there is soo much to see and experience! 🌍🇩🇪
