The Black Management Forum (BMF) is a non-racial, thought leadership organisation founded in 1976, with the main purpose of influencing socio-economic transformation of our country, in pursuit of socio-economic justice, fairness and equity. ation of leadership structures and processes, which will enhance the abilities, and capabilities of students upon entering the labour market or corporate world. Whereas the BMF is not apolitical, but is non-partisan. The BMF is however not neutral on matters of transformation- We are pro-transformation. Drawing membership from diverse academic disciplines, BMFsc Stellenbosch focuses on the growth and development of its members through effective leadership development programmes and community upliftment programmes. The branch looks to also inspire, equip and develop members with the skills necessary in leadership and in their future professional lives with the aim of aiding in producing the ideal, well-rounded graduate. The branch engages with the immediate community to tackle socio-economic factors while inspiring its members to greater heights.
