Mrs Jooste and Mrs Chandler have been working on a mural at the reception of the Zonnebloem Boys Primary School. Just a few more sessions then it will be complete!

This integrated Senior Phase Term 1 task, titled Nature in Motion, was developed in collaboration with WCED Creative Arts and Technology subject advisors. Schools and art centres across the province were invited to respond to a creative brief, challenging learners to create a moving artwork that links to STEAM, exploring the intersection of art and technology through movement.

The brief focused on habitat-inspired artworks, using only natural and recyclable materials. Our learners rose to the challenge, producing thoughtful, innovative pieces that reflect both creativity and environmental awareness 🌱✨

Join us for a cosy Picasso inspired Paint and Sip at the Children's Art Centre on Saturday 30th May. The attending fee is R150 including all of your snacks, beverages and art materials for the morning.
