Dear Colleagues... Our John Molson team was accepted to participate at the Yale SOM Integrated Leadership Competition in April, and we are looking into sponsorship options. Our team wanted to reach out to the class and see if anyone had ideas or connections with any corporations who might be willing to sponsor. Our target is R90 000 for registration, fights, and accommodation. You can direct message me if you have ideas or comments - THANK YOU! Bradley Wickham, Marcia Motlanthe, Joy-Marè De Wet, Sarah Watrous. http://groups.som.yale.edu/ilcc/about/

Announcement by Sissel Tellefsen:
As you might know we have been working on a plan for an upgrade of the Brig. The Brig will look stunning in October, but we need to raise the money. The way we are raising the money is by giving the current students and alumni the opportunity to sponsor a Brick in the Brig. We want to start the renovations very soon, but I need to have a minimum of 30 signed commitments.
PS! There is only 100 bricks up for sponsorship.
The Class to have 10 signed forms by Monday will get 12 bottles of wine. The cost is R 450 per month for 6 months.
See attached pictures and example of a "Brick in the Brig."

Next Thursday, 21st of May at 6pm, the GSB Entepreneurship Club will be hosting an exciting panel discussion with the founders, brew masters, and all round veterans of the local craft beer industry, who will share their experience and war stories on starting, growing, and marketing their respective craft beer operations. The panel consists of speakers representing the full spectrum of the craft beer industry - from large and established breweries all the way down to budding startups and craft beer curators - namely Wolfgang Koedel (of CBC fame), Denis da Silva (Trade Brewer at SAB Miller), Randolf Jorberg (the brains behind Beerhouse), Roger Burton (Long Beach Brewery), and Morne Uys (from Lakeside Beerworks). The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and “craft beer appreciation activity” (ie: a 3 letter word that starts with "k" and ends in "eg"). There will also be non-alcoholic beverage and light snacks on offer. Venue size is limited, so RSVP is essential. Please RSVP by clicking on this link: http://www.gsb.uct.ac.za/s.asp?p=257&intEventID=456
