Today we say goodbye to a truly magnificent part of our property’s history.

During the recent heavy rainfall, our beautiful 150-year-old oak tree sadly cracked in half and subsequently fell onto the roof of the building.

For generations, this incredible tree stood tall through changing seasons, witnessed countless memories, and provided shade, beauty, and character to our space. While we are deeply saddened by the loss of such a landmark, we are incredibly grateful that no one was injured and that there was minimal structural damage to the building. A tree-felling team has now begun the careful removal and salvaging process.

This beloved old oak will always remain part of our story, our landscape, and our memories. 🌳
