Today, on World Oceans Day, we celebrate the incredible oceans that sustain life on Earth and remind ourselves of our responsibility to protect them.
Living in beautiful Cape Town, we are fortunate to be surrounded by some of the world's most spectacular coastlines. Our oceans provide food, regulate our climate, support countless species, and offer places of wonder, recreation, and inspiration.
At Greenfield Girls' Primary, we believe that even small actions can make a big difference. By reducing plastic waste, recycling responsibly, conserving water, and caring for our natural environment, we help ensure that future generations can enjoy healthy oceans too.
As girls who are growing into women of purpose, our Greenies are learning that stewardship of the planet begins with everyday choices. Together, we can nurture a love for nature, inspire positive action, and help our world flourish.

To our treasured Muslim families, staff, and friends of Greenfield Girls’ Primary, we extend our warmest wishes on the blessed occasion of Eid al-Adha.

The WCED has closed all schools in the province tomorrow, Tuesday, 12 May. School will resume on Wednesday, 13 May.
