Urgent Skills Development Providers:

We implore Minister Dr. Blade Nzimande to extend the legacy qualifications and unit standards of the SETAs for a duration of three years. It is imperative to emphasize the severe ramifications of failing to extend these provisions. Job losses would escalate, endangering the livelihoods of countless individuals.

We call upon the Minister to closely oversee the alignment of SETAs with occupational qualifications and skills programs, employing a streamlined approach. Monitoring SETAs is crucial to mitigate delays that could further exacerbate the situation.

Immediate action is indispensable to safeguard current employment, sustain operating businesses, and facilitate uninterrupted educational pursuits for learners. We wholeheartedly endorse this plea and petition, affirming our support through participation and signature.

We are having numerous calls and complaints about credits that have not been uploaded, certificates not received etc.

Their system is still not 100% functional and we are doing our utmost best to get credits onto the system and endorsed.

We are in daily communication with them and working on the problems as they arise to get things sorted.

We know that everyone is extremely frustrated and we are feeling the same way but our hands are tied!
