Alcari Learning Centre ALCARI has built a proud reputation of delivering high quality FAIS “Fit & Proper” training and

ALCARI is a registered training provider accredited with INSETA Accreditation Number,L130209. Alcari is accredited to offer the following qualifications, Short term qualification NQF Level 4 (49929) and Retail Insurance NQF Level 4 (49835)

We provide training for all personnel who need to comply with the FAIS Fit & Proper requirements in
studies toward an appropriate FSB approved qualification and beyond. Our learners register to complete the Short term Insurance Qualification SAQA ID 66610 consisting of
150 credits. Learners complete the Core and Elective components through Alcari through three skills
programs totaling 93 credits, and for those learners who require Fundamental components, we have joint
ventures with accredited providers who offer these components
Our staff have more than 50 years combined experience in the banking and insurance and training
industry, are accredited and registered skills development facilitators, assessors and moderators. We are able offer FSB registration support, FAIS training, Assessment and Moderation services. With respect to FAIS training, we would conduct an analysis of your staff’s training requirements and
current level of knowledge in order to provide a cost effective and relative training solution. Subject to
confirmations of exactly what a staff member has in terms of qualifications, there could be exemptions
for those that require no further FAIS accreditation (e.g. staff with financial degrees/diplomas)
The balance of the staff may have a variety of academic qualifications and we would need to assess
these levels to set up a training programme which will cause the least disruption, and be as time/cost
effective as possible.

To all out valued learners...we need your help to petition the Minister of Education to extend the cut off date for our most valuable asset...our F&I qualifications which has been set for 30 June 2024 with NO suitable replacement qualification in place....Think of what your Alcari qualification has meant to you.....please complete the petition and allow the Alcari legacy to continue!!!

Urgent Skills Development Providers:

We implore Minister Dr. Blade Nzimande to extend the legacy qualifications and unit standards of the SETAs for a duration of three years. It is imperative to emphasize the severe ramifications of failing to extend these provisions. Job losses would escalate, endangering the livelihoods of countless individuals.

We call upon the Minister to closely oversee the alignment of SETAs with occupational qualifications and skills programs, employing a streamlined approach. Monitoring SETAs is crucial to mitigate delays that could further exacerbate the situation.

Immediate action is indispensable to safeguard current employment, sustain operating businesses, and facilitate uninterrupted educational pursuits for learners. We wholeheartedly endorse this plea and petition, affirming our support through participation and signature.

To all our valued learners - past and present.

We are having numerous calls and complaints about credits that have not been uploaded, certificates not received etc.

Their system is still not 100% functional and we are doing our utmost best to get credits onto the system and endorsed.

We are in daily communication with them and working on the problems as they arise to get things sorted.

We know that everyone is extremely frustrated and we are feeling the same way but our hands are tied!
