Perfect timing today! Our had just left (though some of them refused to leave and wanted to stay till much later ❤️) and the skies opened up.

While we've been celebrating Spring since 1 September, astronomically, Spring starts at a very specific point, at the Spring Equinox.

Which takes place in 1 hour, at 02h05!

At this time the Sun will cross the Earth's celestial equator, moving from north to south. This movement of the Sun is determined by the way Earth travels around the sun, and the way Earth tilts on its axis while moving.

And from now onwards, our days will become longer, as we enjoy more sunlight time.
We definitely enjoyed the glorious sunshine the last few days!

Our garden delights in this weather! And so do our , being and delighting in finding chameleons and more, as they go, unhurried in their play and learning.

And of course, rooting for our Bokke Springboks today!

We've been enjoying the colder rainy weather... And the frogs have too! It seems like hundreds of Clicking Stream frogs have grown from tadpoles into frogs overnight

By the way... Do you know that the high-pitched chatter dialect of the Jawas, who first appeared in Star War: A New Hope, is a sped up version of siZulu? Their famous cry is 'uThini!' It actually means 'what do you say'🤔😊
