School Building Project Status update

Riverside Primary School – Building Project Update
Since the building project commenced in the second quarter of 2016, we have seen;
• The demolition of the entire Prefab structure
• New foundations
• The building roof high by the close of the 2016
The project is taking shape and moving along. We anticipate that in the beginning of 2017, the roof will be completed.

However, we realise that the refurbishing of the new classrooms will be costly and we will continue to make appeals for donations and support from all who is impressed by the Holy Spirit and who shares God’s vision for the role of Christian Education in the holistic development of a child.
Just a reminder to continue to support in the following ways:
• Continued Prayer for the project and the School leadership,
Building Project Manager, Mxoli Properties and the Construction
team.
• If you are a Woolworths Account holder, and have a “MySchool”
card, you can nominate Riverside Primary School as a Beneficiary
to receive a percentage of all your purchases over a three month
or quarterly period.
• Once off or monthly contributions referenced for the Building
Fund. Please inbox or contact the school.
• Support Fundraising activities for this purpose that will be
advertised.

In spite of the morning chills, its heating up at the CT Cup 5 a side Soccer Tournament at Fives Futbol, Century City. Our boys, Brazil have suffered a defeat of 8-9 but this was not without showing serious skills and testing their tenacity to come from a 0-5 score... We are Super excited with the turn out!! Thanks to WMG & their Team who has been working tirelessly to make the Tournament a success!! Now we have to encourage the teams to bring their spectators to support them..

Our CT Cup 5 a Side Soccer Tournament kicked off last Sunday at Fives Futbol, Century City. If you still interested in registering a team, you can still register tomorrow morning at 08h30. Games kick off at 09h00. Please come and support our teams and enjoy some coffee, tea, doughnuts and boerie rolls... Soccer games will continue until 12h00. We look forward to your support for a good cause!!

We will be hosting an Indoor Soccer Tournament, Cape Town Cup 2014 from May to July! We are appealing to all our Soccer enthusiasts to get their team together (5 a side) and register your team. The registration cost is R650.00 to participate for the duration of the tournament. Please contact one the following persons to register or get more information; Lyle Baatjes and Eben Williams. We also appeal for your assistance with the following; 1) We need your support, please attend 2) Assistance with Security, please volunteer your time 3) if you have younger sons, we need ball boys during the matches. I am sure that our learners have enjoyed their short break and have settled into the 2nd Quarter of 2014. How time flies.. We are so excited to let you know of the launch of our first School Newsletter, called "Ripple". We hope to use this tool to inform everyone associated with our school about our activities.

We Praise God for the pledges received thusfar!! For those who would like to pledge, please inbox your email address and name so I can forward you the pledge form.

Our school has long been the victim of theft and damage to the property. Its aging structure is in dire need of being replaced as it has outlived its expected lifespan. Concerned individuals, worked fervently to place the school's plight on the agenda of the World Missions fund and now the school has become recipients of R1,1 million rand towards the total of the R3 million rand Building project. The plan is for the building of a double storey building. This would mean that our learners can finally be in a safe and secure environment. Would you agree that this is a worth cause for the future of our learners, educators and God's institution. Please pray for our project!
