The kits sold really well that we are now planning the next step to introduce it to the wider community 🎁

Then we have Hleliwe in her stunning but simple dress which is made from the from BUT she hacked the sleeve to a long sleeve with a cute elastic details! Fabric is from . ⭐️

The Hali Hoodie has been a work in progress for many (many) years and I am so happy to finally have it in a form that can be easily accessible by many!

A few pictures from our fabric outing, possibly the best way to spend a morning (beside sewing 😆)

First coffee at the best coffee shop

Love the way displays the fabric! So much easier to navigate and somehow less overwhelming then other rows and rows of fabric.

The best place to buy cotton spandex (Lycra) is Nicholson Textiles. Amazing array of colours (sadly I didn’t get a pic 🙈)

If you love trims and haberdashery then is AMAZING 🤩

No haul, we where just looking 😂 Thank you for joining me!

Today marks the very sad passing of one of the most amazing women in my life.

Elizabeth Galloway ❤️

I moved from Johannesburg down to Cape Town straight after school (much to my parents surprise) to study near Stellenbosch. I remember Elizabeth’s warm and encouraging presence, her total acceptance and encouragement to us students to be ourselves, her absolute love for all things Fashion, but in her own way. Not in a commercial, let’s make money way, but a natural love for pattern making, sewing and textiles. We connected very well and since then I have had many beautiful conversations with her.

Since I was at the school (about 19 years ago) it has grown so much which is so inspiring!

Farewell dear Elizabeth, there are Golden Angel Wings reserved just for you to set yourself free 👼 🤍 You legacy lives on in the hearts and work of all your students 🧵 🪡
