Early Childhood Development St.
Francis Edu-care Centre (NPO: 085-415) was established 34 years ago to render early childhood services, and is registered with the Department of Social Development in terms of the Child Care Act as well as a Grade R facility with the Department of Education. The crèche can accommodate one hundred and twenty kids and provide a comprehensive baby care and school readiness program.

Did you know??
Small bouts of physical activity during school can help with learning and memory! Children are also better able to pay attention to learning sessions following a short activity break.

Physical activities is good for motor- as well as cognitive development! St. Francis Educare Centre has partnered with UCT to study the movement behaviours of preschool children in order to understand the effects of physical activities on the holistic development of the child.

Our Story
St. Francis Educare Centre was established in 1981 to render early childhood services. The Centre is registered with the Department of Social Development in terms of the Child Care Act as well as a Grade R facility with the Department of Education. We are able to accommodate one hundred and thirty nine kids and provide comprehensive baby and toddler care as well as a Grade R school readiness program and after school services.
