Educators are among the hardest working people. They spend hours preparing for lessons, marking and evaluating the progress of learners. That is besides actual time spent administrating, teaching, mentoring, disciplining and training for further development.
If you an educator and feel you simply do not have enough time to do all you need to do, we would like to offer a tool to help you. After some consultations I have developed a relatively simple, cost-effective assessment analysis tool that will make your task of tracking learners progress much easier and efficient, saving you many hours of work!
Please click on the link below and fill in the survey if you interested.

If you are a grade 9 or 10 learner and would like to improve your math grades for 2016 why not register for extra math classes now and join the success. These learners struggled with their mathematics, but with the help of extra classes they have all passed. Classes are held at the CSD Centre in Bishop Lavis. It will be offered in blocks of ten two hour sessions at R60 per session. There will be only one session per day and space for ten learners per class. This will ensure more individual attention during sessions. For more info or if you would like to register click on the link:

A group of Grade 9 learners benefiting from the extra classes I have had the privilege to provide them with. Girls I hope you did well in the exams!
Three to four learners attended the maths classes regularly. Out of this this group only one student showed improvement. Her score was doubled. For me the lesson learnt from this result is that performance seems to be associated with the learner's attitude towards math or their belief in their ability to master it. The student who did well had a better attitude or belief in her own ability than the ones that did not. This may inform my selection process in the future or adjustments to the nature of the intervention for learners with a negative attitude or belief system in relation to math.
