🏆🥇 Double Gold. Double National Champion

Huge congratulations to Waldemar Terblanche on an incredible performance at the MASA National Festival 2026, held in Pretoria on 27 June 2026.

Competing in the No-Gi Grappling division, Waldemar entered two weight categories:
🥇 Under 32kg – Gold
🥇 Under 36kg – Gold

After a series of tough matches, Waldemar dominated both divisions to become the MASA National Champion in each category.

Your dedication, discipline, and determination continue to inspire us all. We are incredibly proud of your achievement and the way you represented REPS Cape Town on the national stage.

Sunday, 31 May at the International Jiu-Jitsu Competition in Cape Town, two of our REPS junior athletes stepped onto the biggest mat of their lives and came home with medals. 🥈🥈

🏅 Waldemar Terblanche — Silver Medal
🏅 Gherardo Echardt — Silver Medal

Both faced tough, experienced international opponents, and neither one took the easy path. These fights were hard-earned, technical, and full of heart, exactly what we train for at REPS. 🤍

Silver against international competition as juniors? That's not a consolation prize. That's a statement.
