Today we will be starting Jam Sessions at IQONGA opposite Luhlaza High School or formerly known 4roomed Ekasi Culture.
IQONGA the stage proudly announces its weekly jam sessions set to take place every Friday at our creative center located in Khayelitsha.
We invite all Artists, providing them with a vibrant platform to hone their skills, showcase their talents, and forge valuable connections within the artistic community.
As these are open jam sessions, artists are encouraged not only to participate but also to extend invitations to their peers, friends, and fellow creatives, amplifying the scope and diversity of the artistic collaborations.

Sibahle Sky Dladla is an African instrumentalist, a percussionist, marimba maker, a songwriter, singer and bow instrument maker from Gugulethu township in Cape town South Africa. Sky started African instruments by playing marimbas in high school 11 years ago, she fell in love and enrolled at UCT study African Music. She has graduated at the University of Cape Town with a Performance Diploma, an Advance Diploma and Post Graduate Diploma in African Instruments.
