Sabrina Rupprecht (Instagram/Twitter ) founded the Fashion Drawing Workshop in 2010 to teach you the foundation of fashion and design illustration. It used to be a 20-hour workshop based in Cape Town, South Africa, which took place a few times for several months. The themes of the workshop:
• Figure Drawing

- The face
- Development of fashion figure templates in different poses for fashion design (women, men, children)
• Garment Illustration
- Technical drawing / flats of garments
- Fashion illustration of garments on a fashion figure
- Fabrics and their attributes
- Accessories
• Coloring Techniques
- Pencil drawing - shading and depth
- Felt / Copic markers
- Colour pencils and pastels
- Combination of techniques for special effects
The goal: Improving your fashion drawing skills, meeting new fashion loving friends and most importantly: Have fun! Later, Sabrina started her own clothing label (www.sabstance.com) and could no longer run the 20-hour workshops. She decided to keep the Fashion Drawing Workshop page for students to use it as an easy way to contact her for advice with their sketches.
