“My dear,

In the midst of hate,
I found there was, within me,
an invincible love.

In the midst of tears,
I found there was, within me,
an invincible smile.

In the midst of chaos,
I found there was, within me,
an invincible calm.

I realized, through it all, that;
In the midst of winter,
I found there was, within me,
an invincible summer.

And that makes me happy.
✨
For it says that no matter
how hard the world pushes
against me, within me,
there’s something stronger,
something better,
pushing right back.

Truly yours,

“You become. It takes a long time. That’s why it doesn’t happen often to people who break easily, or have sharp edges, or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don’t matter at all, because once you are Real you can’t be ugly, except to people who don’t understand.”
Margery Williams - The Velveteen Rabbit, 1923.

I find the best way to love someone is not to change them, but instead, help them reveal the greatest version of themselves.

“I love people who make me laugh. I honestly think it's the thing I like most, to laugh. It cures a multitude of ills. It's probably the most important thing in a person.”
Audrey Hepburn

AFRICAN PROVERB : Home is not where we live.Home is where belong

Meaning: Houses are built with bricks and mortar but homes are built with love and peace. Home is the resting place for the weary, a fortress for the weak, a well for the thirsty and buffet for the hungry. It is an oasis to the dry heart, an anchor to the drifting soul and wisdom to the confused mind. Home is where our hearts feel at ease. It's a place where we are appreciated rather than tolerated. It's a place where we are loved, not just because of what we have, but in spite of what we don't have. It's a place where we are not profiled or treated with partiality. It's a place where we are not afraid to be ourselves; a place where we are not afraid of making mistakes. It's a place where we are not just understood but we feel understood ; it's a place where our opinions are heard; it's a place where our concerns and cares are considered; and it's also a place where we know that even if we are criticized or chastised, it is for our own good. A place where evil is seen for what it is, no matter who does it. A place where we have the freedom to disagree — where we can disagree without being disagreeable. A place where you don’t have to be perfect to be accepted and loved. A place where we are not assumed guilty and have to prove ourself innocent, even when we have not done any wrong. A place where our past sins are not brought up every now and again, especially if we have been forgiven. A place where we are not judged by the sins of my ancestors, especially if we are living a different life. That is what everybody wants to have. Be welcoming! !
