Good Teachers are Essential to Achieve Quality Education.
Good teachers are essential to solving our learning crises at present. We are in need of them to close the gap between poor and good quality education.
It is vital that all children have teachers that are well trained, motivated, are able to identify weak learners and are supported by well managed education systems.

A Poor Quality Education is almost like No Education.
Great progress has been made in enrolling children in school. However, it is not enough to get children in school, we also need to ensure that they learn to read, count and acquire the necessary life skills. Children who are most likely to be affected because of a lack of well-trained teachers, inadequate learning materials and unsuitable education infrastructure.
Investing in Education yields significant development benefits.
Education reduces poverty, boost economic growth and increases income.
It increases a person's chances of having a healthy life, reduces maternal death and combats diseases such as HIV and AIDS. Education can promote gender equality, reduces child marriage and promote peace. In sum, education is one of the most important investments a country can make in its people and its future.
Education is a Human Right.
Despite great progress in the last few years, millions of children are still denied their right to good quality education.
Restricted access to education is one of the surest ways of transmitting poverty from generation to generation.
Education is a vital human right, enshrined in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Sadly South Africa is fumbling around with a good quality form of education for all.
Ons gaan dit post in 5 segmente en mense wys wat behels dit om geletter te word.
We will post this topic in 5 segments to give you an overview of How do we learn? I hope that it will clarify many questions with regards to literacy.

This very naughty Chow but also a very lovable mnemonic device is helping at very high risk literacy learners to read in both their mother tongue language and in English.
South Africa should and must place more emphasize on female education. They currently outperform boys in all aspects of education and are a full year ahead of boys in scholastic ability.
To the Teachers out there, please make it happen. For your sake, our sake and their sake.
Illiteracy is defined as somebody who cannot read or write. The inability to read is called Dyslexia. In society we find people who are functional Dyslexics , people who cope despite their handicap.
Is it not about time that we as a society addresses these issues as they have a direct effect on all of us.
Reading ability increases knowledge.
Here at Kadesh we know that the only hope for our children is education.
We also ask the question what kind of quality education will work for our children.
We have developed remedial reading techniques that can help learners with Dyslexia (reading inability) acquires reading skill.
Tolerance is what we don't have in abundance. We need to tolerate the child that is a late developer.
Tolerate each other for I can learn from you.
Education is so essential. Come and join and part of a Reading Revolution in our country.
Gelettertheid is Basiese menslike feit. Kom ons sit hand aan die ploeg en begin n Revolusie van lees in die land.
Here at Kadesh we are constantly busy analyzing systems and approaches on how to get out children reading in their mother tongue language as well as in English.
One of our approaches is based on thematic work. This approach can be very effective if implemented right.
One theme and the learner will be able to grasp the nucleus of that specific subject. I tried it and it improved on subject matter substantially.
The reality is that we restrict ourselves in pursuit of excellence. Start thinking differently.
As part of our fundraising campaign we have T-shirt, golfers and embroidered items to sell. The fabric is of good quality and the prices is right.

We need to stop dreaming and face the consequences of an angry and frustrated generation of young people. 🔰🔰🔰

We push our young learners deeper and deeper into the abyss of illiteracy.
We as a nation needs to rally behind our children now.
8 out 10 learners cannot read for meaning and purpose.
So many learners wants to do the right thing but their reading inability prevents them from reaching the stars.
Reading ability is the main criteria for a knowledge life.
Readers engage with the script. Not the script with them. A very torrid affair I must say. Enjoy a book today.
If we just can understand what reading skills really entails we will make an effort to help our children to read meaningfully.
Locus of control means that one either an internalised or an externaliser. The internet works hard to be successful while the externaliser blames circumstances and events for everything that is not going their way.
Is there a better way of teaching a child than by telling them stories? I doubt that, because stories stays with us. I can remember the stories of my childhood. I even tell that same stories to my children and grand children.
That very stories is the beginning of Literacy. Stories like books stays with us when occurrences we can and will forget.
Tell the child that story.
Read that book with that child.
If one of can give me the explanation of Locus of Control, I will say you clever. Any takers?
