This term, our M1 Design students took on an exciting challenge: designing and creating baby mobiles πŸ‘Άβœ¨β€‰β€‰

Stepping into the role of product designers, they focused on developing safe, stimulating products that support early cognitive development. Their research explored how visual stimulation can enhance key milestones such as head control, eye-muscle strengthening, spatial awareness, and hand-eye coordination πŸ§ πŸ‘€πŸ€²β€‰β€‰

Using the design cycle as their guide, students transformed their insights into thoughtful concept drawings before bringing their final designs to life πŸŽ¨βœοΈβž‘οΈπŸ› οΈβ€‰β€‰

The result was an outstanding showcase of creativity, research, and design thinking β€” filling the classroom with innovation, learning, and joy πŸŒŸπŸ’‘πŸ’›

Our PYP 2 students have been exploring the world of Science πŸ”¬βœ¨ through hands-on experiments as part of their current Unit of Inquiry!

In this fun β€œMarshmallow Meltdown” activity 🍬, they placed marshmallows into four different liquids β€” warm water πŸ’§, oil πŸ›’οΈ, vinegar πŸ‹, and Coke πŸ₯€ β€” and observed what happened over time.

They made predictions, shared their observations, and began to understand how different substances can affect materials in different ways πŸ§ πŸ’‘β€‰

A fantastic opportunity to spark curiosity, encourage critical thinking, and celebrate scientific discovery πŸš€πŸŒ
