Not our Nursery students! π This week, they celebrated π Book Week by making and decorating their own gingerbread men as they explored the classic story The Gingerbread Man.

With colourful buttons and delighted little bakers π©βπ³π¨βπ³, it was a wonderful way to develop creativity, fine motor skills π€², and a love of stories.

Fun games, exciting activities and plenty of laughter and smiles, our students thoroughly enjoyed spending some special time with their dads at school. β¨

This term, our M1 Design students took on an exciting challenge: designing and creating baby mobiles πΆβ¨ββ

Stepping into the role of product designers, they focused on developing safe, stimulating products that support early cognitive development. Their research explored how visual stimulation can enhance key milestones such as head control, eye-muscle strengthening, spatial awareness, and hand-eye coordination π§ ππ€²ββ

Using the design cycle as their guide, students transformed their insights into thoughtful concept drawings before bringing their final designs to life π¨βοΈβ‘οΈπ οΈββ

Our PYP 2 students have been exploring the world of Science π¬β¨ through hands-on experiments as part of their current Unit of Inquiry!β

In this fun βMarshmallow Meltdownβ activity π¬, they placed marshmallows into four different liquids β warm water π§, oil π’οΈ, vinegar π, and Coke π₯€ β and observed what happened over time.β

They made predictions, shared their observations, and began to understand how different substances can affect materials in different ways π§ π‘β
