Musicat is still going strong since 1978. Been teaching hundreds of kids, we used to give a medal to every 100th
student, but stopped counting after 20 years of teaching!

My daughter, Celeste, joined in as teacher in her high school years and now have her own venue. Together we entered students for Royal Schools piano exams Shaneen joined, and with her lovely nature, still helps with the theory of music over weekends and we are extremely happy with the distinctions she produces.

We also teach at the French School in Sea Point, now for about 35 years and our childhood student, Melissa, joined for a while. Most of the week days I teach from home. Our beginner ages are from 3yrs to adult.

Our relaxed and playful teaching method gives joy and happiness and wonderful childhood memories to our students. Each child is special to us and each child learns in his or her own way that we respect.

Our motto: L I P S
Love for Music
Independence
Perseverance
Self satisfaction
